Hey all! Its been awhile! I thought i would kick off the new year and get back into the swing of creating with an event im taking part in :) I’m taking on the Art-a-Thon challenge to support free art programs for youth at the MacPhee Centre!

For 5 weeks, I’ll be creating, sharing, and raising funds to help empower youth through the arts. Every donation supports accessible, high-quality programming that builds confidence, creativity, and connection.

I am considering rebranding my business again due to changing trends/google searches/ and honestly, being misrepresented and grouped with psychics lol (medium)

There is something about having a really rough day, and it be forgotten for a couple hours while painting watercolor ❤️
Though it did not cure the anxiety and depression, it made it more bareable. Art is so theraputic. Its one of the many reasons i love sharing it with people, and teaching others about it in hopes they get that bit of relief like i do.
This was the creation from my watercolor class i taught today

With the restrictions officially gone for Nova Scotia, there will be more parties/celebrations/gatherings.
With that said, i am opening my schedule to in person paint nights again :)
I will also start my hunt for a venue where i can possibly hold monthly paint nights (totally open to suggestions on where to look :) ) i have done partnerships with different venues for monthly paint nights. If you or know someone with a business/venue who would like something like this, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

I am holding myself accountable.

Today i tried some new self care and motivation methods and was able to finish this piece that i had started and have put off for almost 2 years. Though i am happy that i have finished it, i do not feel accomplished.
I feel like my talent is alot like the little boat. It is a functioning boat, still with color and purpose. However, it takes me to push it into the water and show what it can do, and as you can see, it hasnt been in the water for some time. Why? I ask myself that everyday.

I want to deeply apologize for everyone who is waiting for work from me. It has been a trying couple of years but i am done making excuses. Please consider this piece the turning stone. The grabbing of the ore if you will. Today i am pushing the boat into the water. I am holding myself accountable and have the goal to finish all my pieces that i have needed/wanted to finish before the new year.

With the second wave officially here, and the holidays not far behind, its going to be a different christmas this year. Its most likely many friends and family wont be able to travel or get together.

Well, im hoping i can help with that, with Private Zoom paint nights!
I would host a paint night for all your family and/or friends via zoom, that way you can still have that bit of togetherness for the holidays, while still being safe!
Message me for more info! Price is by consultation 🙂 (as i know covid and the holidays combined can make money tight)
